We are a boutique Alpaca breeder located in the beautiful Hawkesbury region of NSW.

Dunbars Run was established in 2013, when we purchased our first two wethers – Rafael & Leo. In just two short years we added two pregnant females to our herd and as they say the rest is history….

We specialise in breeding elite quality Huacaya and Suri Alpacas with a focus on white, fawn and black coloured animals. We are committed to breeding exceptional animals and our aim in huacaya is to produce dense, well aligned, fine and super fine sub 20 micron alpaca fleece across all of our colour ranges and in Suri our focus is on breeding fine, dense and lustrous black Suri, with great confirmation.

Sean is a jack of all trades on our farm. Sean is a qualified vet nurse, a TAFE trained shearer, our resident farm manager and he also runs our mobile shearing business PacaShear.

Emma currently works full time on farm. Emma also sits on the AAA NSW Region Committee as NSW Vice President. When not in the show ring or farming her beloved alpacas, you will find her behind the camera, as she is a passionate photographer and her prints are now for sale in our online store.

Both Emma & Sean are members of The Australian Alpaca Association.
